The CYM1 series circuit breakers are primarily used in distribution networks operating at AC 50Hz-60Hz, with a rated insulation voltage of 800V, a rated working voltage of 690V and below, and a rated current of 1250A or less. They serve as overload, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection for distributing electrical energy and protecting lines and power equipment. Molded case circuit breakers with a frame size of 400A or below can also be used for motor overload, undervoltage, and short-circuit protection. Under normal conditions, they can be used for infrequent line switching and infrequent motor starting.

This series of circuit breakers features small size, high short-circuit breaking capacity, small arcing distance, and shock resistance. When the overload current or short-circuit current reaches or exceeds its specified value, the circuit breaker automatically trips, thereby cutting off the power supply and protecting the equipment on the load side.

Special model notes:

Type C: Basic, capable of meeting fundamental requirements;

Type S: Standard type (same level as Type L) suitable for 10-times current power systems and most applications;

Type M: a high-breaking type, used for motor starting, protection, and power cabinet applications;

Type H: High-fractional type, suitable for 12 times the tripping current and motor protection;
